I have to say that I kind of see the whole skull thing in Latino art as played out, but this piece really strikes me as fresh. I especially like the sinking ship in the brain area of the head. The color sky blue and earthy colors combined with wall paper patterns and iconography, I get a sense of natural vs processed, and old vs new. Cool stuff.
